Where can I find the AP Flashcards?
Most of the AP exams are very vocab heavy, so itā€™s extremely important that your spend time getting to know the most important terms. Click on any subject and youā€™ll find a Ultimate set of flashcards for that AP exam along with flashcard sets for each unit. We have multiple AP flashcard decks for each AP exam that include important events, key players, structures, etc.

Since thereā€™s typically a lot of vocabulary, the best way to make the most out of these AP flashcards is to start early and use our spaced repetition mode to study them!
How do I practice for my AP Exams?
When youā€™re done studying from the AP study guides and flashcards, itā€™s time to put your knowledge to the test. What is the Digital AP Exam?
Starting May 2023, the CollegeBoard is offering seven select AP exams in the digital format. The exams available as of May 2023 will be AP Computer Science Principles, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP European History, AP Seminar, AP US History and AP World History. The digital version of the exam will be on the exact same day as the paper exam and will also be the exact same content. To see if youā€™re allowed to take the digital version, reach out to your school because they are allowed to choose whether they offer only the digital exam, only the paper exam or both.
How are AP exams scored?
AP exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score. The College Board uses a standardized scoring process that involves trained graders that evaluate student responses. The exact scoring criteria and rubrics are provided for each exam and can be found on the College Board's website.
How long is each AP Exam?
Most AP exams are two to three hours long. The exact duration varies depending on the subject. Some exams may also include a break in the middle.
Can I take an AP exam without taking the AP course?
Yes, you can take an AP exam as a "non-enrolled" student! This option allows students to self-study for an AP exam without taking the formal AP course at their school. When youā€™re signing up make sure to check off the ā€œnon-enrolledā€ student. We have lots of free AP study guides and AP resources you can use to help with your AP test prep.
What will I find for each exam in the Knowt AP Hub?

What are AP Classes?
The Advanced Placement program is a set of high school courses created by the college board that allows students to complete college level work in their high school setting. Advanced Placement exams are often used by students to get an advantage in college admissions by showing their rigorous work ethic. AP exams allow students who perform well to potentially earn college credit to skip basic classes in college.
How much do AP Exams cost?
Although registering for and completing AP classes are free, the exams cost $94 per exam. However, if you require financial assistance, we would recommend checking with your guidance counselor to see if there are any programs to help you reduce the cost.
