Here’s the guidelines and sample you should follow to keep everything standard across all the notes. Starting with the title above, it should be formatted like this: Chapter {#} - {Chapter name}. Make sure you add the correct tags.

Follow the following for formatting trends:

Main Section

• Use the “Heading 1” to indicate that it’s a main section of the chapter. It shouldn’t have the numbers or chapter or anything of that matter here UNLESS the textbook has it.

  Sub-Section

• Use a bulleted list wherever necessary.

• Use clear images.

• Bold important terms so that they stand out more.

• Use complete sentences whenever possible.

• When creating a note, make sure you’re not leaving any gaps in the material - no sections should be skipped over.

  • Example: If you only type out the beginning of the note and the end of the note, while skipping the rest, that’s unacceptable.
